1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using FAMAPI ("Service", "we", "us") at provider.akiru.online, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

FAMAPI is operated by TEAM-AKIRU and is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to FamApp (formerly FamPay), Trio, or IDFC FIRST Bank.

2. Description of Service

FAMAPI provides a developer API for automating UPI payment verification. The service works by:

  • Generating UPI payment requests with unique purpose codes and QR codes.
  • Reading your Gmail inbox (with your explicit permission) to detect UPI transaction confirmation emails.
  • Returning a verified or pending status via API response and optional webhook callbacks.

The Service is a developer tool. You are responsible for how you integrate it into your own applications.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.
  • You must have a valid Google account to sign in.
  • You must be using the Service for lawful purposes only.
  • This Service is currently available to users in India only.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

4.1 Plans

  • Free: No API access. Dashboard access only.
  • Starter: ₹100/month — 500 API requests per day, 60 requests per minute.
  • Pro: ₹200/month — 2,000 API requests per day, 120 requests per minute, IP whitelisting.

4.2 Payment

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly via UPI payment directly to our UPI ID.
  • Your subscription is activated immediately upon payment verification.
  • Subscriptions are valid for 30 days from activation date.
  • You must manually renew your subscription before expiry. There is no automatic renewal.

4.3 Refunds

  • All payments are non-refundable once the subscription has been activated.
  • If your payment was debited but the subscription was not activated due to a technical error on our side, contact us within 48 hours for a resolution.
  • We reserve the right to issue refunds at our sole discretion in exceptional cases.

5. API Usage & Fair Use

  • You may use the API only for lawful purposes and only within your subscribed quota limits.
  • Daily quotas reset at midnight UTC. Requests exceeding the quota receive a 429 Too Many Requests response.
  • You must not use automated scripts, bots, or tooling to artificially inflate API usage beyond normal application behaviour.
  • You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying logic of the Service.
  • You must not resell, sublicense, or white-label the API without our prior written consent.
  • You must not use the Service to verify payments for illegal activities, scams, gambling, or any activity prohibited by Indian law.
  • Each API key is for a single developer account. Sharing API keys between multiple users or applications owned by different people is prohibited.

6. Your Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for keeping your API key confidential. Never expose it in client-side code, public repositories, or logs.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and API key.
  • If you suspect your API key has been compromised, regenerate it immediately from the dashboard.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
  • You are responsible for how your end users interact with any application you build using our API.

7. Gmail Access

  • Connecting your Gmail account is optional but required for payment verification to work.
  • By connecting Gmail, you explicitly authorize us to read your inbox solely for detecting UPI payment confirmation emails.
  • You can revoke Gmail access at any time. Revoking access will disable payment verification until you reconnect.
  • We will never access your Gmail for any purpose other than payment verification as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Service Availability & Accuracy

  • We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
  • Payment verification depends on Gmail delivery from your UPI payment provider. Delays in email delivery are outside our control.
  • We do not guarantee that every payment will be detected. Factors outside our control (email delivery delays, email format changes by payment providers, Gmail API outages) may affect accuracy.
  • Do not rely solely on this service for critical financial decisions without a fallback verification method.

9. Intellectual Property

  • The FAMAPI name, logo, and all original content on this platform are owned by TEAM-AKIRU.
  • You may not use our name, logo, or branding in your own products without written permission.
  • You retain ownership of any application you build using our API.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FAMAPI AND TEAM-AKIRU SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Loss of revenue, profits, data, or business opportunities arising from use or inability to use the Service.
  • Incorrect payment verification results due to email delivery failures, API outages, or format changes by third-party payment providers.
  • Any damages arising from unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to keep credentials secure.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

12. Termination

  • You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or if we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
  • Upon termination, your API keys are immediately revoked, active subscriptions are cancelled without refund, and your data will be deleted within 7 days.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, stop using the Service and contact us to close your account.
